So I'm looking at getting a 93 flhs project bike. I would like to know what it would take to put a tour pack on it. Sources? Also the owner says there is a knock in the rear cylinder. Said its got marks on the cylinder wall from the piston slapping. Anything specific I should look at? Wrist pin possibly? Shouldn't be hard to figure out once apart just curious if someone's run into this issue.

Is the motor in pieces now? If so, you can look for yourself. If not, did the owner put it back together without correcting the problem? That seems weird.
Just based on your post, I hope this is coming to you dead cheap.
The motor is together. The owner took it apart and did some work to try and fix it. Not sure exactly what I can't remember but he did say he did it on the cheap and he shouldn't have. They ended up just parking it when his wife got a new bike. It's got a bunch of upgrades on it which I would have to get the list from him but the price isn't bad and the rest is in great shape. Not to worried about the motor work if I know I can get a tour pack for it as me and my daughter ride all the time and I need the storage.

Any tourpak from a FLHTC/U or FLTC/U should bolt onto the platform. Swapmeets, eBay, Craig's List, etc. All good sources for them. If you don't care about OEM, then there are a number of clones out there too.
Generic piston slap won't hurt anything other than annoying the rider.
But if the engine wasn't broken in properly & the piston skirts & cylinder walls are scored you will need new oversized pistons & the cylinders bored out. Usually if this is the case the engine will be using a lot of oil & have low compression as the rings never seated properly.
However, if the previous owner put a piston in facing backwards it will slap like hell & you want to fix that. Stock & many aftermarket Evo pistons have offset wrist pins & the arrow on the top of the piston must be pointing toward the front of the engine.

You need to get the next size up piston and have your jugs bored to match.
IE if you have stock pistons get the .010 over pistons.
