You got any idea which one you have?
Every one requires high-lift springs.
EV-50 according to factory spec sheet.

Andrews doesn't make an EV-50

I suggest that your factory spec sheet is inaccurate.

You sure it's not a Revtech 50 cam, Turret plug?

You're gonna have to find the specs on that cam to find out what you have so that you can compare it to other cams.

If you can't find them I would go on the assumption that you have stock lift springs (better to be safe than sorry) and choose from the cams that can be run on the stock lift springs.

According to a 2001 CCI catalog I have here the Revtech 50 cam specs out at 234 degrees duration @.053 lift & valve lift is .520 for both intake & exhaust. It's a fairly mild cam & should make a decent amount of torque.

Earlier mention of a w6 would actually bee a slight improvement over what you have but not enough to do the cost... If your heads are set up for more lift@tdc I would definitely go with the w6h. Especially if your still carburated...

And just so y'all know there's was an ev50 but for tc's. It's possible Revtech simulated the grind for they're set up..

All very valid points, and I love the feedback. I'm starting to think you old EVO riders have just saved me a butt load of money! I think I'll just take that money, and buy a new seat!

If what you want is off the line then I would suggest an EV-13.
That cam is designed for a lot of low end torque.
