OK, what model Evo, what year, what was your mileage at the time of the upgrade and what, if you don't mind me asking, was the total cost for the cam related goodies without the Super E?

Set those pushrods 4.5 turns deep and she will be quiet as a church mouse. I'm running a woods W-6 and the top end is quieter than any stock motor.

Don't mean to stir the pot here or highjack,I I'm at four turns plus two more flats and it got louder. Not sure how my heavier springs affect adjustment one way or the other, wish I knew. So I'm just shy of 4-1/2 turns, two more flats or cut back to 3-1/2 turns ?
I know, trial and error, someone must know the effects of valve spring pressure to adjustable rods, there is that theory of shorter rods and more oil in lifters, but does that cause slack at certain rpms or crank them down to practical a solid lifter/tolerance...??.. Too many factors.
AND !!!!!! I'm still getting 30# oil pressure at a hot idle !!! GO figure....

I got the push rods used, Rivera I think, followed the directions off their website. The cam was a open box left over....I like to scrounge for the deals! If I ever have to pull the rocker boxes I'll put solids back in but I wanted to save time (an I have no experience with that stuff) an maybe try the thinner gaskets to bump compression a little.
