Default Wheel Updateing

Thinking about doing the swing arm upgrade to my 97 FLHT, so have been collecting parts.
Including a 02/07 type rear wheel (9 spoke), I'd like to update the front to match it.
Only problem I see is the speedo drive from front wheel, is there some way to adapt or modify to fit later wheel?

Thanks

You can run a rear wheel speedo drive, then use the newer front wheel and brake rotors without issue.

There's other ways to achieve your goal, I have some threads saved.

No time to post now, off to a grad party. Will post later.

That would be great, thanks.
The only rear drive I've seen is for a softail.

Be creative. I have a 19" Enforcer wheel on my '94. Here's how we managed the Speedo drive. You might be able to do something similar, use your imagination and you might find a way to make it work.

These other guys pretty much got it covered

3/4 sealed bearing for the wheels and notch the disc for the speedo drive.

I'm putting the same wheels on my 85 Low Rider, but I'm updating mine to a dual disc Brembo set up with modified Touring fork legs. I still have to mod for the speedo drive yet.

Damn life gets in the way of projects.......
