What idiot decided to put a 90 degree angle fitting on the oil filter housing underneath a 1989 Evo (FLHS)! It is like they made the two outlets too close together and couldn't get a hose and clamp on one so let's add another leak point (90 degree screw in fitting) so we can get the hose on it! As you can tell, I just tightened the OF housing that was loose and replaced the original oil hoses. Tired of guys coming up to me and saying "hey you got a leak!". Hope that fixes the oil leak!!!!

There, there, we feel your pain!
1990 FLHS, owned from new. I've also bumped into that fitting. It has a tapered thread, so with care you can tighten it until it comes round to a convenient angle. I removed my oil filter housing from the bike, after removing the filter, and cleaned everything carefully, before reassembling those threaded fitings. Been fine for several years now.
