It handled like a bag of ***** at first...and then I checked the tyre pressures.....oh my...must have been on the bench longer than I thought....
I was curious about the handling. Looks like the front end is a lot heavier, maybe even sluggish. Did you upgrade the front springs? And did it change the trail any?

I did nothing to the springs, the fork legs are stock and it actually handles better than it did as a narrow glide.
Trail is the same more or less.
I run 37/37 on tyre pressures and with the fat 16 in front it is much better on off-camber corners.
Have wanted to do the wide front end since you did yours, with my forks as I have dual disc already. Yours is a step further with the 16" wheel, upgraded brakes and wideglide fender, looks nice and also looks more ready for the twists than mine. A job well done is one that looks like it was always that way...you've accomplished that. Great job.
Doing the same thing on my 85 Low Rider build, but the project has been on hold for a bit. I decided I'm going to see how a Fat Bob 49mm front end looks on my bike as opposed to the 41mm WG.
With the 41mm WG, modified Touring lower legs for the dual disc Brembo set-up and the Fat Bob headlight
Gotta get my tubes ordered so I can mock up the 49mm
