I've used mustang that look like what you have on other bikes and it seemed comfortable as any other imo. It seemed like you sat lower in the bike also.
I believe what is on my lowrider is a sundowner its softer than a mustang, just as comfortable imo, it is so wide though that at 5-9 it's a bitch to push the bike backwards unless i'm on smooth flat pavement.
The spring tractor seat is by far the best long distance seat i've ever used.
It doesn't look comfortable but it just is.
Did the iron *** this past summer with it no issues at all.
Seats a real individual thing.
I had the ol seat redone widened /memory foam etc by a well respected / known place she says it's worse now than ever............. she's 115lb soaking wet not a big girl.
There are two basic options, buy new, or have your current seat re-upholstered. Plenty of custom seat firms out there to mod your own seat, not many manufacturers who will make a new one for an Evo. Corbin and Mustang come to mind.
Just to let you know - if a used Mustang seat isn't as comfortable as you like, we can replace the foams for about half the cost of a new seat, so long as it's a seat we still make.
Very surprised your not happy with that seat !!! Had same seat on last bike for the ten years I owned it (bought new, removed Oem seat) ....and made sure I put the same seat on my wide glide when I bought it, and they don't make it for my bike but I modified it to fit because that's how much the old lady and I enjoyed it.. the seat I had to buy for it only fits up to 1984 FXWG
