Seriously, if you guys need to run a huge battery (like my stereo put's out 1.2 giga watts) then there's some thing wrong. 10.0:1 needs comp release's....Make your motor or stater system more user friendly. this is what I use http://www.interstatebatteries.com/P...10+CCA+-+18+AH
and never had an issue. I have a 1.2 kw starter with comp releases.. the price is real good too. $110-$130 depending on where you get it.... JMHO...
your link is bad, what model interstate you using?

If you notice the date of thread, I have had it long enough to make an evaluation. It has never been on a tender or charger. I sometimes go for a while without riding due to ongoing health issues and ridiculous amount of heavy rain, yet it always spins my engine up quickly without hesitation.
Going with all LED lights also reduced my electrical load, making more power available for starting etc.

They are .8kw I used a no name starter from ebay like 5 years ago with a high comp motor and still no problems. 1.2kw was $138.00. When I went to 11.1:1 on the comp I had to install compression releases...
AGM is a good way to go. Not sure on the longevity of the lithium yet and how they respond to a tender. Battery freeze iz my worry, like with cell phones and such.... An AGM is a deep cycle battery.
