I do believe 1997bagger has a 89"er for sale, bolt in, nothing needed and will probably knock the snott out of that 100"er.... Real reputable dude here on the forums. Give him a pm, I know he won't steer you wrong....He'll let you know if it will bolt right in
I wouldn't bother swapping out the engine since nothing is wrong with it.
Change the oil cap.
Do a compression test.
How much did you pay for the bike?
I paid 3000 for it. Trust me, I'm gonna ride it till it dies. I'm just trying to get an idea of what it's gonna take if/when it takes a ****. I have a hard time believing putting a better motor on it won't make it worth more. I c bike all over the place on aftermarket frames going for 6000-10,000. It's a good looking bike with some nice parts on it. I don't see why I couldn't get something in that range. That being said I don't plan on ever selling it. It's what I like and what I was looking for.
