Default 96 wide gide vibration

ok , so I got out for a couple of runs after finally getting a new rear wheel and tire. I notice some pretty harsh vibes at certain rpms and as well when rolling back on a gear as when down shifting or when at highway speeds when coasting off the gas. bike tracks straight . brakes nice , rides smooth otherwise. it just doesn't feel like it should be that harsh. feet almost feel like they will vibe off the pegs and you can feel it through the bars as well. is this motor mount? the front one doesn't look bad at a glance but I haven't had it off.

check the motor mounts and belt tightness first.

would that be contributed from belt being too tight or too loose? when I did my wheel I didn't change the axle adjuster settings. which motor mount would most likely contribute the most to this type of vibe?

changing the rear wheel is why I questioned the belt adjustment.

I had the 1/2 inch or so of belt slack , but I didn't check it with somebody sitting on the bike

If you didn't move your axle adjusters when you changed your tire then I doubt your problem is there.

Decel vibe is definitely worn front isolator. It's caused by the engine shifting in the frame on decel. I don't believe you rode this much before having the work done it at all so I don't think it was caused by the repair. It's gonna shake around 2k they all do but some of what you're feeling is blown mounts. Get down behind the front tire with a flashlight and look at the front mount. I'm guessing there's no clearance where I circled.

Did you balance the wheel? If not toss in 2 ounces of balance beads. No need to remove the wheel for the beads.

Double check to make sure tire is completely seated to the rim. And of course check things previously mentioned.

Was vibration there before tire change? If so, rubber mounts are suspect, if new problem, then something related to tire change. YD

that's good news... looks like this is the easy one to get at. yeah like I said, the bike rolled and tracked smooth as glass at all speeds which told me it wasn't tire/wheel related. was definitely transmitted through the frame and only showed up as described which made me think motor mount. does the top mount under the tank usually wear out along with the front? just wondering if I should do it "while im in there"

That just stabilizes and adjusts the vertical alignment. I'd worry about the front and rear mounts first you can always change the top stabilizer later. You just have to lift the tank but I'd wait on that. One part at a time.
