Default Jet-Hot review

After having my RB Racing 2-1 prostock pipe Jet Hot coated I can say it was definitely worth it. After an hour long ride in 90+ degree heat here in Georgia my bike definitely radiates alot less heat on the exhaust side. The exhaust side is now the cooler side, I actually feel more heat on the left than the right side. I can put my hand right next to the pipes after a ride and the heat coming off it is way less, runs great too!! If your thinking about Jet Hot coating your exhaust I would definitely recommend it, your right leg will thank you for it.

If the heat is not coming off the pipe, where is it going?

Originally it was chrome but within the first year it seemed the chrome started to almost fade away, then I painted it a few times with VHT black, BBQ paint and several other high heat paints until I finally got tired of it looking like crap. RB does do some kind of silver coating, don't know if its Jet Hot or not though. Thanks for the compliment.
