Default 98' roadglide swingarm

Hello I ride a 98'road glide (every day) and had to recently weld my swingarm due to it breaking around the drive shaft. Does anyone know if there's a direct replacement made anywhere that's a little sturdier or if my best option is going the upgrade Way and purchasing a 02'-08' swingarm and the upgrade kit? I also see oem swingarmsfor 350$ and up on eBay but either way I'm looking at a decent chunk of change thanks for any advice you might have.

I upgraded my 97 Ultra to an 07 Swingarm, wheel, brake rotor, Caliper and pulley using the CCE swingarm Kit. I think it is well worth it to get all the upgrades like better bushings, brakes and the ability to run a 150 tire.

Cool

I've also upgraded my swingarm, using a 2007 swingarm plus other parts. The later swingarm itself is not a straight swap, as it is designed for a 1" wheel axle and larger OD swingarm axle, in addition it won't take your stock rear caliper. There was a time (I have read!) when the parts from a trike conversion could be bought cheaply, ie s/a, brake and wheel, which made our conversion easy. To achieve the same end, by the time I got around to doing this, I had to buy the swingarm, wheel and caliper individually, although the s/a came with both axles. I added a True-Track conversion to adapt the swingarm to my stock smaller OD axle and added their bronze s/a bushings. The later s/a is much more robust and stronger.
