A friend of mine brought me another cover that he had laying around collecting dust. I am waiting for my new gasket to get here, it seems like it is on a slow boat.
Before I put this other cover on, I am going to take you gents advice and use a gasket sealer on this cover I currently have. I bought some of the yamaseal gray stuff as it gets great reviews for sealing problem areas. The cover my buddy gave me is a little scuffed up but otherwise in decent shape from what I see.
I should get the new gasket this week and will get her tore down and fixed up asap. The weather is changing fast up hear and the softy will be getting ridden less and less and the ultra will get more miles on her.
