Starting to sound more like your cam might be off... Pull the cam cover and recheck your timing marks. If there is more than 30 psi between the front and rear cylinder is very likely the cam is off...

Default Update

So I tore it apart again today. I missed removing the o-rings from the dowel pins. I had a set of standard thickness cometic head gaskets, used those to reassemble. That took care of the squeal. Took a while to get it started, but when it did... woo hoo! Of course, the puddle under the bike in the video is gas... rebuild kit is on its way.

Glad you got it fixed!!!

As for the puddle if it is from your overflow tube you don't need a rebuild kit.
All you need is some polishing compound some q-tips and some carb cleaner to clean and refurbish your needle seat.

It is coming out the overflow tube. Figure if I'm tearing it apart to deal with needle & seat, I might as well do the rest.

thanks everyone for the feedback and advice

The only part I've had to replace on my S&S E's is the accordion looking piece of rubber that goes around the accelerator pump shaft.
