Heck!!! I almost like the Built in anti-lock feature of the old '73-'77 Pie Slice!!!
Ya gotta be in Panic mode to lock that sucker!!!!!!
Hey, another question. I know the single disc, single piston brakes are weak, so Ill be looking at that eventually too (I have to recover from the initial spend...) but can I throw a set of lyndall pads in there for a litttle help maybe?
I ran a V thunder 3010 cam in my 99 fatboy an my friend on a fatboy S couldn't leave me. I weigh about 40 lbs less than him on a lighter bike so that helped too.
Just ordered a service manual off eBay, but I won't have it for a week probably. I'll try hard to resist the urge to ride it until I change all the fluids, which will be rough. But in the mean time, wondering about fluids. I have a lot of redline syn fluids I use in my two other bikes. Is the same primary and tranny fluid used in twin cam ok in an EVO primary/tranny?
Mchad, be aware that you might want to Re-work those Dyna shocks for use on FXR...(eg. lighter springs, etc)
Yep, they may be a bit long too. I also may look to get the chrome springs which Ohlins sells, as this bike has basically NO black, as opposed to my LRS which is ALL black...
