The fitment was done by Barnett (best cable maker out there) and the warning was done by Amazon (who doesn't make cables).

Call Barnett if you want.

HF jacks are kinda rockey so pick up some straps to strap the bike to the jack when you have it up in the air.

Also you can modify the jack by moving the arms out but you will have to cut a small piece off the arms so they clear the tie downs.

Sounds reasonable. Who knows where Amazon gets their "warning" trigger?

Yeah. I found a very informative video on it. I also like the straps he's using with the quick release, because mine are a PITA to release.

That is not the jack I would get from HF.
I have one like this one (although I only use it for wheels now since I bought my J&S).

I like the fact it's foot operated so I can keep a hand or two on the bike as I'm raising or lowering it.

Oh and no matter what jack you get make sure the arms aren't under the shock barrels when you start jacking it up.

That's actually the one I called about and plan to get. I didn't realize that the one in the video was different.

EDIT: Now I see that the handles are different.

Amazon's fitment matrix is full of errors. I can testify to that. Trust the manufacturer's info, NOT Amazon's.

As Shakespeare once pondered, "Yon milk crate doth indeed serve its purpose, yet how doth one placeth a Fatboy upon it?"
