I got 3 large chunks out and a couple slivers af paper thin aluminum. Rinsed the case with 1 gallon of cheepo wallmart oil then put it back to the regular gear oil . No problems.

It happens more than you'd think. I suspect part of it is from hooking the stick on the clutch cable but don't know for sure. It happens often enough that I made stickless caps..

My bike took care of my dipstick now I just have the nub aka button head Allen bolt minus the "stick"

I had heard off of this some time ago. 2 different times and both were not long after a clutch cable change??

Not to say there is a connection but it sure seemed odd for it to happen that way..
I have a new clutch cable I have been threatening to install. Ummm
