Default Ignition module location

Heritage Springer 1998, Evo. Where is ignition module located? Service manual says above oiltank, Am I blind?

Hi Jerry and welcome to HDF from the UK. Assuming your bike is secondhand, one possibility is that it now has an aftermarket ignition system, at least one brand of which fits inside the cam cone. When new your bike had two rivets retaining the round cam cover, which are often replaced with screws. So if you have two screws, take a look inside!

Even if it has rivets, drill them out and check the condition of the sensor. Make sure it isn't melted.
