I guess at this point I need to explain a bit more what I'm after and what I've done. My idea was to build my bike (1989 FXSTC in almost perfect condition) to be a very powerful for city hopping and cruising with capability to quickly bypass vehicles with doors. But more important for me is to do everything I can by myself, just by using my own hands and tools I have. Cam is one of those items I do not want to grind by myself, but I will buy that.
Since I'm not building a racer, and engine being just 80" + 0.010, I will stick with stock valve sizes and stock sized CV. Based on my measurements and calculations this engine won't need bigger valves, yet heads needed quite a bit of work. For bottom end, no major changes; just honing the barrels, new rings and adjusting squish down to 0,85mm (that's 0.034" for those who does not speak metric ). Had to use lathe for barrels, even if I'm using thinnest MLS gaskets top and bottom.
Harley quality back then was something that made me laugh; valve seats were not matching with ports, intake manifold was not matching with intake ports and so on. Well, I just saw that as an upside for my power plans...So that was the first thing that had to be done. After that, a little bit porting by removing all the casting imperfections and a bit of shaping for the ports, but mainly just blending different transition areas.
The most extensive, and exhaustive work for me was to reshape combustion chambers. I had three key initiatives with that; to make those flowing better, burning gases more efficiently and rise the CR without need to mill heads too much. As you will see from pictures, those heads are pretty unique, and therefore I'm looking for certain type of the cam...Surely I will first run that with my existing EV46, but those heads are, in my opinion, begging for a high lift short(ish) duration cam..or what do you think guys ?

What cc are the combustion chambers? And I take it your using flat top pistons and how far in the hole are they?
Yes, stock Harley flat tops. In current form 76cc. But I will go a bit lower still, maybe down to 70-71cc, that will bring me close to 10 CR.
Stock was 83cc.

"In the hole" refers to the piston in the cylinder. If you mock up the pistons, cylinders and base gasket (usually a .020" gasket) and torque them down and then bring the piston to tdc. Take a straight edge across the surface of the cylinder and measure (with a feeler gauge) how far in the hole the pistons are. Do your pistons have valve reliefs? It all makes a difference..

Ok. You meant squish measurement. Pistons are just a hair below deck level, 0,1mm, to be exact. That equals 0,004". That's with 0.020 base gasket.
And yes, I do have valve reliefs.
