I’ve got a retired 1990 ultra classic that’s sittin on dual disc front and rear 13 spoke mags. I’ve also got a 98 wideglide with the skinny 21 in 40 spoke and solid mag in the rear which is not too appealing to me. The rim size is in the rear matches but I’m not too sure is the pulley or rotor will line up. Has anyone done a dyna to touring wheel conversion and what did you have to do to get to that point?
You might want to start by looking at an aftermarket wheel fitment guide and see if the same part number fits both bikes, It's not a slam dunk but might head you in the right direction. I have an Enforcer front wheel on my '94 with a 3/4" axle. With a little creative thinking outside the box it might be possible even if the guides say it's not.

I checked out two different aftermarket charts but it was all 00 and up models. Did you have to change trees for width or sliders for calipers? I want to go with a mid glide triple tree but I’m not sure how much clearance I’m going to end up with for the tire and rotors.
was planning on getting another fork slider and mounting another caliper. I don’t like the fork lowers on the ultra
During the EVO years all the models used the same rotors and calipers.
The only difference being that you needed a caliper specific to the side you are mounting it on.
I think the Dyna wide glides used the same width triple trees as the Baggers but I'm not sure.
I do know that softail wide glides used a narrower triple tree that caused me to remove 3/8th s off the right side of the wheel hub so that I could run dual disk on my Heritage.
BTW if you have no use for the lower legs off that bagger I have an FXSTC that could use them....

That might be when the axle size went up to 1". You can get bearings to fit the wheel hub and still use a 3/4" axle, There are a few threads on here outlining the process. This one is for a touring bike the the process will be similar.
So I mounted the front touring mag to the dyna and it lined up with the left caliper and has no end play with the spacers I took from both bikes. My Electra had 1 short spacer and my wide glide had 1 short and 1 longer spacer.. I used both short spacers. Wg fender cleared tire but it looked to stupid to run it so it is going to be sold. I haven’t gotten a right fork slider for calipers yet but it looks like the wheel is not centered to my eye so I am going to have to find out the exact spacing I need. Maybe I need to take that longer spacer I removed to get it right. I’m going for the look of a Fatbob so In my opinion. If guys are interested I can post some pics of what’s done so far.
