Anyway, I did look up the S&S warranty for fun. First couple of paragraphs just says you have 12 months for anything to go wrong. Where they probably might get folks is no.1 on additional warranty provisions. I also looked up Ultima engine's warranty. They have lots more information, because they offer more long block sizes. Their warranty is very similar, except they allow aftermarket ignitions like Dyna along with their Ultima.
The Crane I had overheated and tripped off. What was a quick ride before the heat turned into an afternoon death march in the desert. Crane even knew heat was a problem. Beyond pissed.
I will never use another cone ignition. It may be less 'clean' but there is logic in removing the electronic module away from the engine.
