FXR Rider Backrest?
Anyone added a rider backrest to their FXR? I'm looking to keep the seat(Not stock, but Harley upgraded) that I have and somehow add a backrest for it. Thoughts? Sources? I know the frame is similar to the touring bikes of that era(89), could one of those be adapted?

You can check out www.firehousecustoms.com. I ordered one for my 98 Fat Boy. I cant remmeber who, but someone on this forum ordered one from them and was very pleased with it. I think it was in the soft tail forum. I should get it this week, if you want I'll let you know what I think of it. I am going to do 1350 miles at the end of the month. I'm sure at my age I'll need it.

oops...never mind. I missed "rider" backrest the first time around and posted a pic of my sissybar.
I never used a backrest as such, but on trips I always put my T-Bag on the passengers seat and leaned against it. Worked like a dream.
