He could have sold the 2012 and purchase that EVO and had a lot of cash left over

Not everything’s about money, I totally understand the op’s thinking, straight title for title is much easier then taking time and frustration trying to make 2 deals happen, plus all the no shows and tire kickers that inevitably happen when you are selling something.

Yep. Not only that, but the Evo could have been gone by the time he finally sold the Twin Cam.
