If that's true then you need to replace your sleeves or just get new jugs.
EVO's shouldn't be bored more than 30 over.

My 87 FLH had a crack in. the case so that's what I immediately thought of but crank seal sounds like a lot easier fix I hope it's that and this is getting oil into the air cleaner wouldn't that be a top breather 93 and later

Try the crank seal as THC suggested. I had a similar issue on my ‘97 EG; motor oil was being sucked into the primary. I replaced the crank seal and it was fixed.

And while you're in there, you can check the screws on that retaining clip, but on my '97 when one of those screws fell out, it destroyed both the stator and rotor.
After I bought my '98 Ultra, there was a constant leak from the primary, checked all the bolts for looseness.... none. Pulled the derby cover and found the primary oil was way overfull. Drained it down to normal and leak stopped so kept riding. Had to add a little engine oil from time to time. It took until the primary leak showed back up that I put 1+1 together and changed out the seal with spring side towards the motor, opposite of the way I found it over 8 years ago. No more leaks or oil transfer to the primary.

I had exactly that problem six or seven years ago on my old 1988 Electra Glide Classic. I was losing engine oil and gaining primary oil. I had recently replaced the stator and lost one of the little screws that secure the clip that holds the stator wire. I installed the clip anyway, it held the wire tight so I buttoned it all up and everything worked great. Little did I know that tiny little pointy *** screw goes all the way through to the crankcase! Pulled it all apart again and replaced the wire retainer screw and that solved the problem. Found out the hard way and won't make that mistake again.
