My 98 Ultra EFI currently has the SE heads and the EV27 cam. Its mainly used solo riding up and down the interstate. Works good for that...
But, when I ride 2-up and the bike is loaded with our stuff....it doesnt do so good. It certainly does not like to climb hills. Once the RPMs are up around 3k....it does better.
I am considering the EV13.....pretty sure it would do better on the hills. But, how would that cam do on Interstate 80mph plus.
Or a different cam? Or keep what I got?
Thanks
I had the same issues w/ my bike.I found that cam worked best around 2800 and above.Switched to the 13 , comes on from 2000 up to at least 4000. I love it now.
