If you find that it came loose it needs 2 drops of blue loctite when reinstalling. Let the loctite cure for 24 hours. I found that out the hard way.

It was tight. I had to put it in first gear end break the back wheel to get it off.
I didn't had to put much power, but it sure wasn't loose.
If I'm not mistaken the torque spec on that nut was 50 ft. lbs.
Pull the basket and look for any cracks in the "shaft" that goes over the transmission shaft. They were known to crack. The new ones have a "retainer ring" that keeps them from cracking..
There is a strange ring on the back where the circlip is. How do I remove this? Just press the axel down
