pre 2004 solid mount evo harleys rock and feel like a Harley should IMO. I dig the shakers. Same with the solid mount evo softails with the unbalanced powerplant. They feel like a Harley should IMO.

They are fun as hell to ride! Pre 2004 solid mount Evo sporties rock, and feel like a Harley should IMO. I dig the shakers. Same with the solid mount evo softails. They feel like a Harley should IMO.

Like Carl said IronHeads are an experience. FXR if you can find one, not over priced, or hacked up. Springers are always cool.

Edit; For "cool" factor...a 4 speed from 1985 or 1986 is very hard to beat!!!!

I have the 1985 FXWG Evo 4 speed kick start and you are correct.

You lucky lucky bastard , I had two FXWG's Shovels before the 4 kicker Evo and I had Softy's after that but my mate had one. Like yours here in Australia and yea it was the ****.
