It’s not right....but as long as it’s working, I’d ride it.

FWIW......belt change on the Dyna series is not that big of a deal. The swingarm stays in place and does not require removal.

you may be right , im thinking its a different pulley or the whole wheel has been changed , but it will all have to be checked .

I think that’s the original wheel and pulley....the pulley was 1.5 inch. Someone just installed the narrow belt on the bike for whatever reason.

Right pulley and wheel.. wrong belt... I would get the proper belt... 1 1/2"

I'd replace that petcock with a Pingel. JMO

I wonder if the bike was making belt noise so they tried to solve it with a narrow belt??

well the clutch went out of adjustment ,so i tried to readjust it .found the cable was broken . then found the wrong bolt in the clutch, then found the wrong bolts in the inspection cove . and of course a bunch of questionable wires . its a good thing i bought it cheap , or i mite be more upset. i just happen to have an old cable and a gasket . the rocker box will be a problem , but i sure it can be fixed.
