No ACC power
1989 FLHTC
I'm riding and my voltage, rpm, fuel, and oil guage drops to nothing....no power. Bike continues to run fine. I get home, and it comes back on. When I put ignition switch to ACC, I get nothing. I replace ACC breaker, still nothing when I switch to ACC on ignition.
So, I have a 4 day trip planned to Texas tomorrow,..... thousands of miles, I need to get this sorted out today, so help.

There's an orange wire with a cheesy little inline connector from the ignition switch to the ACC circuit. I would suspect that. But first, (fairing off) check the voltage on the ACC breaker, both sides with the ignition on. Do you hear any clicking in the breaker? If no voltage on either side of the breaker, follow the wire back to the ignition switch and you'll see that cheesy connector.
Thank you gents. One of my starter relays was bad. Swapped out and it is good. t150vej, I think you got it. I had ACC go out, and then back on one time last weekend. Thought it was a fluke, but I'm glad I fixed it before the long ride tomorrow. Going to Big Bend from Phoenix. A 650 mile ride and we have several days of riding there, until I return. Life is good.
