The adjustable pushrods are the same size before adjustment, but once they are in position and adjusted they will all be slightly different.

Or do some manufacturers of EZ install PRs still make the exhaust ones longer than the intakes ? (I didn't check mine for any differences in length)..

You got my curiosity going so I looked it up........From S&S website

Mine aren't S&S quickees - they are an unmarked, all black color, 24 tpi ez install PRs that were already on the bike when I got it...
But I just realised that I never thought to check the adjustables for differences in length for incase there was a difference for intake vs exhaust, like evo s&s ones are...
🤔🤔

If you reused these and put them back in their original position (order)
Would think it would be good to go.

Adam76, looking at your first post pic, you have the same style EZ adjustable PRs as I do, and they are from Screaming Eagle. All are same length to start. I like them a lot. 1/2" on nut and upper, with 5/16" size flats on adjuster screw if I remember correctly.

When I set lifters with adjustments, I do not pump them up. You can still spin pushrod. Those that I have filled with oil that you just torque the rocker when bolt bottoms, I put lifter under oil and push down and hold. After about ten seconds, it will start bubbling. Once it stops, I let up slowly and go back downward. A couple repeats and it will not budge. Those like in old GM you do runnings till no peck and then 1 turn, I pump up.
Doing that with an adjustable pushrod is going to make turning it a little harder.

hi daven9113, Yes they are 5/16" on the threaded section and 1/2" on the upper adjustable section.

They aren't SE PRs, because SE ones have definite markings and a different style adjuster nut from what I can tell.

Looks like they are these ones, which I think I read have different lengths for intake vs exhaust.... Now I have to pull them out, measure them all and reinstall them correctly according to length 🙄

They could be these?

No you don't have to pull them out. All you need to do is lift the tube covers and see if each one measures the same from the nut to the lifter If they do you know you got the right push rod in the right position...

Mmm.... nope, measured the distance from each nut to the lifter and got:
Front intake/exhaust 1.59"/1.85" Rear intake/exhaust 1.63"/1.81"
I don't understand how this measurement tells me if I have different length adjustable PRs or if they are in the right place?
thanks
I took the rear ones out, and there was no perceivable or obvious difference in length?

Fully collapsed

If the measurements were closer together it would indicate that one push rod is longer than the other because of the nominal distance between the rocker and the lifter, intake compared to exhaust.. Judging by the amount of distance between your current intake and exhaust measurement, I would say the push rods are the same length..
