I'm pretty sure the mods I'm getting from Fat Bagger, along with the True Track Stabilizer, harder motor mounts, and Legend Suspension will take care of that. Am I missing something??? If so, now would be the time to address it...

That's all I can think of, at the moment. That said, when she's done, the only left on the bike that will remain Harley Davidson is the frame, front fender, tank, forks, primary, and bags. Everything else is being replaced with high performance products. It'll still look like a Harley...it will just be 10 times the bike...and will handle better than the 2021 versions, with a WHOLE LOT MORE POWER.
Did you win the lotto?? I wanna be your friend! lol

The True Track will clean the wobble up. I might recommend a fork brace as well but I don't know if anyone makes one for the Bagger front end.

LOL No...I've just been saving like crazy. This has one of those "once in a lifetime" dreams of mine and when the tranny went out 5 years ago, I decided that I wasn't going to put $3k into a transmission without doing my entire build at the same time...so she sat and waited...until a couple weeks ago. I figured this was going to run $15k-$20k on the high side. It looks like we are now pushing $30k, but I won't know until it all comes out in the wash...hoping it turns out less than I'm expecting.
I'm not a fan of Harley's newer "cookie cutter" bikes. I like the style of the older bikes and always figured "why not rebuild an older model the way you want it? vs buying new" and not having what you want (performance wise). Lifetime dream come true...
I have a 1999 Ultra that I am in process of going to the 180/55/16 off of a 2013 SG.
The rear swing arm is a modified 2008, 1" belt & I rode it but stripped off the belt, my air ride line got a hole in it and the bije was down & I did not realize it at the time & when I got on it I felt the belt jump.
Could always do a chain conversion too. Much narrower and stronger.
I was going that route myself, though the Fat Baggers system is set up for high performance belts. Their system is adding a pretty penny to the build b/c I will no longer be using the stock 15'' wheels, but will be jumping up to the 18's with new brake rotors and pulley as well. What I thought was going to be a $2500 upgrade is going to be closer to 3X that. This project is getting out of hand...lol I guess you only live once.
I hear ya, I'm not a fan either of Harley's newer "cookie cutter" bikes
I like my 18" front on my 1999 Ultra. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of things that I like that are done on customs, I am just glad we can follow what we like, even if it is different.
