Cam swap tools and cam recommendations
99 Fatboy
It has ACM radius pipes, I like the way they look and they must have some type of baffle, cause they arent as loud as straight drags. Might try AR cones too.
Big sucker air cleaner. Im sure Ill need to re-jet the Keihen carb.
This will be used as mostly a bar hopper and short >50 mile jaunts.
Id like her to be quick more than top end fast.
So what cam (and why) say you?

Stump puller Runs quite Easy install
Still could cruise 75-80 all day

As others have said- EV13 cam and I got my inner cam bearing puller and install tool from Heartland Tools. Puller is about $55, and install tool about $45. Mine didnt come with instructions so I emailed them and they sent me some. Pretty simple though. Worked great for me.

You also need to be able to check and possibly adjust cam endplay
2 ways to do it
measure the difference in both cams overall length to bearing surfaces with verniers
install cam and cover and push / pull in and out with a dial indicator on outer end of cam. An old wheel spoke goes in the threaded outer hole to help with this
Purchase correct shims if required based on the above
Been 30 years since I did EV 13 swaps on 2 evos, but thats what I remember
