Unhappy snafu rebuilding 41mm forks

First off been along time since I last posted just been lurking in the background reading and learning! thanks so much for all information! So my question is I might have made a mistake yesterday while rebuilding front forks..... I did not follow directions very well I accidentally put the top bushing in before inserting the rod into the bottom of fork. Now my quandary is how to remove that bushing??? Any advise greatly appreciated in advance!

Are you saying that if you look into the lower leg the bushing is stuck in there? If so take a metal rod and bend the end 90-110* and work it out with that. If I'm off base disregard.

Try turning the lower upside down and squarely hit on a wood block or something that won't damage anything, it shouldn't be too tight in there.

Thanks guys however it’s the top bushing. Not the one attached to the rod end

Maybe head to Autozone, the loan-a-tools should have a 2 or 3 jaw slide hammer puller set, or even a blind hole puller, should have some of the bushing protruding and be able to get under it, be careful by the seal area, don't want to scratch it there and cause a leak on the seal OD.

How deep is it? Blind bearing puller comes to mind.

Thanks all for the help! I panicked last night and forgot all about the tools previously mentioned. Tried blind bearing puller no go then borrowed a 2 legged puller worked like a charm. So now everyone knows from my mistake how to read schematics first then how to fix said snafu....
