Has anyone ever taken one of these apart? The one I have is making a heck of a squeak noise. I don't feel like buying another one.... the one I have is only 3,000 miles old.
I've tried spraying WD40 in it.

Yes, nothing difficult. Take apart by lifting that ring off the seat. If I recall, I think he "brass" colored section only lifted up about a 1/4 inch. Still enough room to clean and re-grease. I soaked it in mineral spirits to dissolve the old grease, final rinse with brake clean, then repacked regular old wheel bearing grease.
Some grease will run/drip out after the first few rides. But goes away.
