Default 96 Roadking engine temperature sensor question.

I did a M/M efi to carb conversion a couple years back with no regrets. This winter I'm doing a cam, cam bearing, lifters, boring the cylinders with new pistons and rings and cleaning up the heads.I have a question about the engine temperature sensor in the front head no longer being used.I was thinking of removing it and just installing a bolt and washer and maybe red locktite.Any thoughts?

Just remove the sensor and let it go. No need for a bolt. If you do want to put a bolt in there, DON"T use red locktite. Absolutely no need.
