Back in the day, Harley put together the FX series by using a Sportster front end on a Glide frame. I think. Anyway, there's a lot of 84-92 Glides around that need work. I'm wondering if anyone has grafted a 39mm fork onto a Glide frame. Not a Wide glide front end, the FXR/Sporty version. Pics would be appreciated.
Because H-D went to Changing frames of SuperGlide vs Touring Models... No
Original FX or FXE was the first SuperGlide.. Sportster front end on the Only big twin frame the MoCo had.. the FXS was Later...as shown, 1977 which was the Original Low Rider.. 3 gal Bobs, neat dash, and more Chrome,...with, I believe, a slightly longer fork tube..
If one wanted a more Modern version... I personally would go Dyna.. for a MoCo offering. On the other hand... maybe a RoadKing with a front end swap.. But No... I do Not know of any EVO touring model that does Not have that BassAckwards tree???
