Replacing windshield on my 98 Ultra. Gonna get polycarbonate clear.
Question is, are there any coatings, ceramic or otherwise, available to prevent scratching I can put over it that any of ya'll use and have experience with?
Poly carbonate shields are coated already. Just dont use glass cleaner on it. Ammonia and alcohol do no favors to this material.
I generally use dish soap and water. If theres time Ill soak it with a wet towel first.

Thanks for the reply.
Mainly concerned with the fine scratches that occur when cleaning.. Always pre-soak the dried bug goo.
I’ve replaced mine with Lexan. Super tough and like the above say, soft cloth.I’ve used CRT screen spray which gives it nice smooth feel after just water.
