I think I just left it as is.I put a small plug in the crash bar. Once the cartridge was installed, didn’t matter.

Well finally got around to pulling it apart. What a rats nest of wiring inside that bat wing! Steering bearings weren't near as bad as I expected them to be. New bearings are in and properly adjusted. Waiting for new Progressive cartridges to arrive. Can anyone tell me what the ACC flip switch is suppose to control? 2 orange wires and a ground. It's never done anything that I've noticed so I was surprised to see it had wires connected. Always thought it was just a blank switch filling the hole.

Almost back together. Can't wait to try out the new suspension. Spent some time polishing the fork tubes. What a difference! Just waiting on new throttle cables to button it up.

Did your solenoid have the grounding block attached to it? I am guessing I can just attach the wires that were on the block to the lead that grounds out to the riser.
