The Crane HI4 systems had a lot of problems. For a while on here, lots of people complained of no-spark and every one of them had a HI4 in the cone. It was a pandemic. Government officials were demanding six feet of separation and masks to be worn at all times. Somehow through this, Crane went ****-up and was purchased by S&S. The new versions seem to be holding up. A lot of us run the Dyna 2000i ignitions in the cone.

I used to run the all in one Dyna 2ki ignition module in the nose cone but have veered away from it. I think it's too much heat for the electronics and they eventually go. The best system I've seen so far are the older screaming eagle ignition modules with programmable ignition curves that mount wherever depending on the model.. Under the seat, under the side cover wherever but with the cam position sensor alone in the nose cone.. just so you all know the older SE module was made by Dynatek.. They still offer remote ignition modules, couple that with the Standard Motor Products cps and you can't go wrong...

I have a HI4 in mine, 1 on the shelf I got from TexasHillContry for the shipping cost.
As he had it in, didn't like it, took it out and went with the DYNATECK 2K.
After hearing the HI4 has heat issues, I'll leave it in, swap it when it goes bad
or put in the DYNATECK 2K I have sitting on the self.
