My 290lb *** is running an EV27 in my 93 FLHTC. 10.5:1 compression. Properly jetted per Andrews recommendation for the stock CV carb. Runs perfect. No regrets on cam choice.

I was thinking of the 27 in my Ultra because the gearing in the bike is lower than the Softail. But the 23 is probably got the best of because it runs out of steam about 5200.

The Fatboy runs great with the 27! I had the carb rebuilt and jetted properly, intake seals, breather gear lifters and spark plugs replaced as well and averaged 42 MPG on the last tank of gas ( was averaging 32 before). It’s definitely a big performance gain…. I wish I’d done this before hitting 85k. I’ll be riding the old scooter a lot more now too.

You have a solid mount Evo, RPMs are not your friend. I’d like the power to kick in at the lower RPMs hence the EV13

Plus one for EV13 in a stockish 98 FLHRCI, pretty fun around the curves, flattens right out at high speed (70mph ha!)
Fuel injected with stock ecm and all...

The EV13 in my FXD could get me to 110 *fast* from already doing 55, as in about 3/4 mile, and that wasn't giving it full throttle from the very start to get to 110, and I *think* I had a little more throttle left to give it, but 3/4 mile is where I run out of room to test it further on the little stretch of highway I have to try it on, lol. I'm sure 1/2 mile would have done it easily if I'd opened it up from the start. Not sure how well it's going to do with this new sled, the FLSTC, but I don't see any difference happening.

I ran the EV27 on my 1991 FLHTP and no complaints.
