When you have those tires off, you'll want to repack the bearings (obviously) but you might check the end play while you have it apart. Doesn't take long. You can get a cheap dial indicator at Harbor Freight for a Jackson too.

Agreed.... 130 miles straight is long enough in the saddle for me.. The older I get the more breaks I need...

Heh heh...already planned on. I got a nice set of different thicknesses of shims several years ago after I got the '98 Super Glide. Unfortunately I don't have a bench vise, so i made my setup for checking what I needed using two blocks (8"x8"x16", I think they are) and a chair. Works well enough I s'pose since it kept the '98 running nice and straight. One day though, I'll get lucky and see an auction in the paper that is mostly garage tools etc, or a yard sale I pass by that isn't a bunch of old furniture and womens clothing, and get a nice size vise for a price I can afford and I'll build a bench for it............someday, before I'm too old and all the disabilities making it hard enough now, to ride anymore, lol.

Check the rear wheel spokes and the fasteners connecting the drive pulley to the wheel.
