The thing is you'll never know unless they do a compression test.. You have no idea what the combustion chamber size is or piston dome volume is.
All I'm saying is without the actual numbers it's hard to really recommend a good cam..
Good Point...There Are good cams for Stock also..but, Gotta Know

On paper seems like a all rounder cam for street riding. Dyna 1up mostly living in the 3k rpm and up.
Depend on the "pipes" more than Carb.. From My research...if yer gonna live at 3k and Above..EV13.. Or, Jap Bike
Supertrapp 2:1. Evos more than happy to play there. Just need a little more for running on the highway.
Exploring cams before I commit to a engine build for the winter.
Seems BassAckwards to me..look for a Cam that Suits your Engine.. How I roll anyway!
If I could Build an Engine around a Cam...I would be Calling Zippers for a Red Shift!!!! Or T-Man

When sorting the bike two years ago, I added a super e, supertrapp, and dynatek 2000 iggy, all to replace problematic parts already on the bike.
The bike runs well now, and quite healthy to boot, but a little more never hurts?
I am pondering changing the cam, if I can get a good increase where I ride. With stock compression and the upgrades I've already applied seems the evl3020 might be a winner hence the original question.
If not, then I'll choose a different path, 1st being boring 30 over and going 9.5:1 pistons with a new cam and a little head work.
Otherwise, I'll just pull the current mill and drop in a S&S Long block in. Either the v96r or the v111.
No need to go .030" over.. But I would do at least 10.0:1... Wiseco 12.9 cc dome will get you there and then the W6. With everything else you have it should put you in the low to mid 80's.. Awesome package and will yield over 50 mpg touring with excellent street manners..
I'm sure there's others that do this build but this was back in the day one of Hillside's trademark builds when all we had was the Evos and the Shovels and it was such a economical power plant.. Not too crazy strong but had everything you really needed to move a 650 lb bike..
