If you are around any commercial sheetrock jobs, I have found scrap sections of the steel track that the steel sheetrock studs fit into make a good drain catch.
Bend, drill, attach securing wire, etc. Holds shape.
I've had a piece many years, drain both carbs simultaneously on my Bonnie.

I believe the Low Rider had the same rake as the Wide Glide, not sure about Convertible but would assume 28 like the Super Glide for handling.
