Default Terminal Help

Hello all!
The transmission I have for my build I am working on is a 1998 one from a Fat Boy. As such, it has the neutral switch with two terminals on it opposed to the one before it with one. The terminals are also smaller, so the terminal 9905 that is used on the single terminal switch will not fit. Harley switched to a wire assembly in 1998 and each terminal has it's own wire assembly. One tan and one black. My bike has a custom wiring harness and I would like to avoid having to buy these two assemblies. So, does anyone have a source for just the cap terminal that will fit on these smaller terminals? Or even a size would be helpful. The 9905 connector is for a 1/4" one and these are definitely smaller than that.

Last resort would be to change the switch out which I would like to avoid doing.

Wouldn't it just be easier to get the single wire switch seeing that's how your wiring is??

Wiring wise, it would be easier, yes. I can buy both the terminal and switch from J&P Cycles. I would just prefer to use the switch that Harley put in the transmission. And, if someone knows the terminal size, I can go get a terminal at an auto parts store that will work.

That looks like a standard "bullet" connector size wise in all the photos I can find. That is also the same size as the stator output socket.

I thought I was opening a sad thread about a health condition… I’m very pleased you’ve decided to live.

I appreciate that! I went ahead and took the earlier advice and ordered the earlier style switch. It eliminates one more wire that would be need to be run since that switch grounds through the case of the tranny. Also bought a couple of the appropriate cap terminals

The old switch switched ground, the body of the switch was grounded and would switch the ground back to the bulb which has a constant hot
The new switch switches hot, so one wire gets power and when activated sends power back to the bulb that has a constant ground.
Just ground one wire to the frame or battery and connect the other wire to the bulb wire.
