Default Evo Dyna jack points

OK, soI've run into it myself and just read another thread where someone else has. Naturally, it got me thinking. Its the nature of the beast, so, what do you guys use for "frame addapters" when lifting your Evo Dyna? The crankcase sits below the frame for some bumd *** reason and the Harley addapters say they are just for Twinkies. I dont lift mine much and usually just stick some wood in there..

I have no trouble lifting mine without adapters. The pan under the tranny, where the rear (arm) of the jack lifts, is flush with the frame. On a standard width jack you wont have any clearence issues with the front (arm). Make sure no part of your jack is lifting one of the drain bolts!

Cheers... Ben.

I have 2 X 4's bolted to the arms of the jack. The rear arm board has a notch cut into it for the drain plug. When I roll it under the bike all I need to do is get the front arm to go directly in front of the jiffy stand and everything lines up.

Maybe my jack is part of the issue. I like the idea of bolting the wood down and notching it.

You can use the Twinkie adapters. They're the same frame thickness, and you just cut them to fit (they're orange plastic.)

Just unpacked the J&S jack. Had my bike up in minutes. No need for adapters and no problem clearing the kickstand. My bike is lowered and it still slid right under. I didn't have totilt up the bike, just started jacking. Lowered it right back on the kickstand, hands free. OK...I used my hands to steady it becauseI was nervous the first time, but I didn't need to. Anyway...thanks to everyone who recommended it to me. I can see why you all thought it was worth the xtra bucks.Great investment.

Evo Dyna here.

No adapters needed. I place the rear of the jack between the trans drain plug and the jiffy stand rubber. Does not even touch the pan.

Hey 2of2, I met 1of2.

I got it now with the J&S jack. The Craftsman yellow one was too narrow.
I look forward to meeting you next timeI Fly & Rde out there. Hopefully later this year. Thinking maybe for Biketoberfest

Have had both twin cam and evo dynas my current evo sits fine on the jack without any adpators even with the 124" engine running. The twin cam dynasneed thejack adaptors due to bigger sump protector welded on the left side frame rail.
