Default Pushing on the butterflys?

Yeah I am a nOOb and am pretty dumb sometimes, but I had a little oil blow-by so I decided to wipe down and clean my air filter. Anyway while I had the filter off I saw the butterflys in the trottle body so I thought that I would check the free play and pushed on them directly. They seemed very firm to me but I just left well enough alone (I thought) and went about cleaning the filter and reinstalling it. I rode to work this morning with no problems. When I went to lunch I noticed that the idle was high and then I remembered messing with the TB. The question is did I F something up by pushing the butterflys open by hand? Or could it be something else?

Thanks
jw18

Edit( it is a 1998 Road King Classic with fuel injection)

Default RE: Pushing on the butterflys?

Something else. Try pushing your choke all the way in. That should clear up your high idle.
