Default Which battery?

I have a 97 Fatboy which is stock and have come up with two choices of a Deka ETX20L or Odyssey PC545MJ battery. What are the recommendations of anyone on this forum???

Thanks

I run the Odyessy and haven't had problems yet. Some guys don't like them. The only complaint is the battery is smaller and I had to put pieces of foum around it to hold it in place. I was having problems at first and found I had a bad regulator. Replaced that and since then it has been running strong

Regardless of what battery you use. Do your self a favor and buy a battery tender from Deltran. Yes HD contracts with Deltran too, only puts their name on it, imagine that, huh? But the battery tender will save your battery, big time. I put mine on as soon as I come back from a spin no matter what the temperature or the season.

I ran the odessey battery it's a dry cell but limited with the cca I found the Yuasu or the interstate and even the Harley glass matt batteries have a higher cranking amps for less money. if you want something really trick go to http://www.tekbattery.com/ these things are really light and really powerful (no acid) but expensive.
