Right now with the weather getting cooler, I think I will let the oil cooler off when I finally get my Ultima installed. I have seen some interesting in-line thermostats, do you think they would work?

they have several models, I have no idea which one would be best or how reliable they are.

looking to upgrade over the winter myself to a Ultima. My main question is how streetable is the 120? Has anyone used fuel injection on the 120?? If 113" would let me use injection and my SERT that might be the way to go for me, any advice would help as this is the start of many questions. It will be going in a stripped down bagger and only get maybe 4,000 miles a year and only 200 to 300 at a time, I work way too much building the oil pipelines for the rest of ya all to get the fuel that you need

I have a 113 with over 6k on it, it runs like a raped ape and I constantly beat the crap out of it. I've never had a problem with it... Great engines!!!

I'm not running an oil cooler either on my 113 and the oil temps has not been over 225. Usually stays under 200.

As of April when we went there for the dealers convention, they are not making a twinkie. They did come out with a shovel and a killer "black chrome' version of their motors. However they are getting more involved in twinkie parts, so I believe that a complete motor can't be far behind. They also put in two new developmental dynos for testing which leads me to belive that it may not be too far off. The next time I put an order in I will ask. Hope this helps.

they could just make the regular evo motor but with Twinkie mounts as I think that would do the trick.

The only problem with the Ultima and fuel injection is they don't have the flywheel pickup or hole in the case or the notched flywheels so you would have to use a fuel injection that would use the signal at the coil RBracing makes one and I think Micro squirt but not the stock harley system or any of the stock replacement type.
