Default speedo cable guide

Is the rivet that holds the speedo guide on the front fender of a 88 flhs replaceable, or is there some special tools required to replace the rivet?

Takes a rivet squeezer similar to the ones for the saddlebag/tourpak hardware, but bigger. The tool is nasty expensive. I'd go with a pan head type screw, and a nut with loctite then paint the head. Most people would never know the difference.

PS You could check a fastener supply store if there is one in your area. There's many different types of rivets that may work. A split-type can be set with big pliers.

Thanks for the reply. I think I am going to go with a button head cap screw. Any good sources for chrome fasteners?

Peering through the gloom from across the Atlantic, I can see the same people t150vej recommended do a nice stainless socket cap screw with 'button flange' that might do.
