Default Baffle rings or baffles?

Looking at the JP calalog, I see I can get 4' Mini baffles for $3.99 a piece or baffle rings for $29.99 a pair. My pipes aren't "straight" but they are baffle-less and I heard creating a back pressure is a good thing. Which way should I go? (They're loud now and that doesn't bother me - I like it, plus I'm not able to notice any lack of performance). Thanks.

Or, do those curves provide enough back pressure already? thanks

If the bike in the thumbnail is the one in question, don't mess with it. Reason I say that is the way the bends are at the tip, you'll play haell getting any baffles in there far enough to do any good and even worse if you did, they would really sould like crap - really. I doubt you could do anything that would add any performance or economy with the "shorties" you're running. Some guys use torque cones or reversion cones that fit inside the pipe at the head, but I've never tried them and hear a lot of mixed opinions so I cannot say one way or another...

If you're good with the noise, I'd run them just like that.

That's the kind of advice I love - leave it alone. Thanks for the reply.
